Largely due to the non-susceptibility of all sorts of transformations in the body, trenbolone has taken its place in veterinary medicine – it can be successfully applied to all types of mammals. Trenbolone is the clear leader in the time of stabilization of the androgen receptor, it surpasses testosterone 3 times in this, but unlike testosterone, it is not as active in some target cells – the prostate and scalp, which gave reason to seriously consider it as a hormone replacement therapy.

In bodybuilding, trenbolone is mainly used for “drying” and for gaining a dry, high-quality mass. Like testosterone, it can be the only steroid in the cycle due to not only high androgenic and anabolic activity, but also a significant increase in the level of IGF-1 and the ability to activate satellite cells. But the use of his “solo” is hardly a good idea – the progestogenic activity of trenbolone, coupled with a strong suppression of endogenous testosterone, is likely to lead to the so-called “trencane” – a strong suppression of libido.

And now, when the main theoretical part is over, I would like to go on to a brief overview of various trenbolone esters and forms of its release.

Trenbolone Acetate

Trenbolone acetate ester was never produced by official pharmaceutical companies, but was used exclusively in veterinary medicine. Trebolone acetate is probably the most popular precompetitive steroid – it gives the athlete rigidity and definition due to the inability of trenbolone to aromatize and due to the short ester chain. Currently, there is practically no one underground firm, in the “line” of which he would not be present. According to the results of a number of studies, trenbolone (assuming a low level of estrogen in the body) contributes to the burning of subcutaneous fat, which once again proves its necessity on the “drying” cycle. As such, it is better to combine it with non-aromatizing steroids, especially with stanozolol and drostanolone. “But what about the notorious“ tren-dikom, ”you ask,“ is it possible in the absence of testosterone? ” And, on the other hand, adding testosterone to the cycle can lead to fluid retention in the body … Here comes Proviron, which is actually an oral version of dihydrotestosterone – 50-100 mg of Proviron per day will prevent a decrease in libido and will not cause water retention under skin (dihydrotestosterone does not aromatize). Once, due to the not-too-high availability of the injection version, trenbolone acetate tablets were in some demand. Now, the producers of this anachronism can be counted on the fingers. The reason is a very low bioavailability due to non-alkylation of the drug and its destruction during the initial passage of the liver. Any small effect was usually observed from taking 125-150 mg (5-6 tablets of 25 mg) per day, which, coupled with a fairly high price, made the drug not very popular in the bodybuilding community, and the wide distribution of the injection version practically put cross.


Unlike acetate ester, trenbolone hexahydrobenzyl carbonate was produced by the French company Negma for use in humans. The drug was out of production a long time ago, but the underground companies picked up the banner that had fallen – on the black market of steroids a large selection of drugs with this active ingredient.

The main difference from the acetate version is a rather long ethereal “tail” containing 8 carbon atoms.yes – accordingly, more rare injections are required (as a rule, 1-2 injections per week are sufficient). Metribolone is an extremely powerful steroid, its anabolic activity is 120-300 times more than methyltestosterone, and androgenic – 60-70 times.
